Crucifixions were the worst form of punishment to exist. It was meant to be as slow and excruciating as possible. It was entertainment to the Romans. They loved every moment of it. It was disgusting, inhuman and torturous.

Crucifixions were done publicly and people were crucified naked to enhance the humiliation.

• The crucifixion was hours and hours of agony.
• Crucifixions were done on Golgotha.
• Look into the church of the holy sepulcher.
• The method of torture of the crucifixion being flogged. The Romans would use a flagrum.

It was a brutal weapon used to tear flesh and severely bruise muscle. It was an instrument of torture created by the Romans. Meant to cause as much pain as possible. The physical trauma was so bad that it would cause shock, unconsciousness and even death.

Jesus would have had pieces of his beard ripped off and a crown of thorns piercing his head.

Patibulum - it would have rubbed up against Jesus' wounds reopening them and causing a new wave of agony for Jesus

Jesus is Eternal?

Yes, because The Bible says in John 1:1 that Jesus existed from the very beginning with God and that He is God. As God Himself. Jesus has always existed. He said Himself “I am the alpha and the omega, The beginning and the end”(Revelation 21:6) Jesus is the Creator of everything and everyone. His birth into a human body was only Him taking on flesh not beginning His existence.

In Genesis 1:27
