Seattle has been totally condemned, and the West Coast is in full retreat. Cottle County is in a state of disarray as events in the week before have the SFC backfooted and trying to flee the county. People have fled and hunkered down anywhere they can, but despite the worsening circumstances, Billy and Whitney still find themselves in the recording room for what could be their final episode.

Another week has gone by, and nothing seems to be getting better. Infection rates and the symptoms of the infected are worsening. The SFC is becoming more active with aggressive tactics, going door to door for wellness checks, as well as sending armed nightly patrols. Some callers are showing more severe symptoms of the SUMMER FLU, becoming increasingly aggressive, aloof, and overall unwell.

The caller's distress and the public service announcement leave an elephant in the room that can’t be ignored, and the two are forced to acknowledge a strange disease spiraling out of control on the West Coast of the United States.

Callers share unsettling firsthand experiences, official alerts downplay severe symptoms, and tension rises between humor and reality. The seriousness of this sickness is becoming more evident and is getting closer and closer to home.
