Grace and Blake discuss the landmark SCOTUS case of Marbury v. Madison, which established the principle of judicial review- one of John Marshall's most influential decisions. A case which originated in the mire of a presidential election, we will dive in to examine the facts of the case, and how the Supreme Court demonstrated its constitutional role and authority in checking the power of the congress. Can you think of any other major Supreme Court decisions which fundamentally altered the way the court and/or the government in general operates?

In this episode, Grace and Blake discuss the significance of a major update to the LSAT released by the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) that will impact future generations of LSAT test takers, and may in fact impact law school admissions processes writ large. As a result of a 2019 lawsuit filed against LSAC, beginning in August of 2024, the LSAT will no longer include a section testing analytical reasoning (Logic Games (LG)), but will instead include another section of Logical Reasoning (LR) in its place. This poses a question for those contemplating whether or not to take the LSAT before the change is implemented, or to wait for the next testing cycle.
