Being a Christian is more than attending church or knowing the right doctrines. It is about abiding in Christ, staying close to Him, and allowing that relationship to shape everything. God designed His people to live in community, where every generation and every spiritual gift has a vital role. Division is the enemy's strategy, but togetherness is God's design. Every believer is also called to be on mission, reaching the people God has strategically placed in their path. Your job, your neighborhood, and your daily circumstances are not accidents. The order matters: be alive in Christ first, walk together in community second, and then go on mission with power and purpose.

There is a difference between knowing the truth and loving the truth. Second Thessalonians 2 warns that those who perish do so not because truth was unavailable, but because they did not receive a love for it. For Seventh-day Adventists, the prophetic message rooted in Daniel and Revelation is not simply a set of doctrines. It is a God-given mission with a specific purpose in history. The 2,300-day prophecy of Daniel 8, the Great Disappointment of 1844, and the three angels' messages of Revelation 14 all point to a people called to restore truth and prepare the world for the return of Jesus. Stories like a 14-year-old Hutterite boy who began keeping the Sabbath after hearing the Bible on a small audio device, and a non-denominational pastor who walked away from his ministry after encountering the call to come out of Babylon, illustrate what happens when truth lands in a hungry heart. The question is not whether we hold the truth intellectually. The question is whether we love it enough to live it and share it without apology.

Those who are truly yielded to the Holy Spirit make war with themselves, while those who cling to sin redirect that energy outward, finding fault and accusing others. The story of Cain and Abel illustrates two classes of people that will exist until the end of time. Cain came to God on his own merits, with no genuine sense of need, while Abel came by faith, recognizing his need for a Savior. The question for every Christian is not whether we obey God, but why we obey Him. A sense of genuine need before God is the very first condition of acceptance with Him, and the closer we draw to Jesus, the more clearly we see ourselves and the deeper that need becomes.
