I invested more than $250.000 in coaching and training — only to discover I didn't actually want to be a coach.

This podcast is about what happened next.

For years, I was part of the coaching world. I coached. I got coached. I bought the courses, did the trainings, filled out the workbooks, worked on my mindset, my blocks, my beliefs — and kept finding new things that apparently needed fixing.

Until I started asking different questions.

What if the problem isn't always the problem — but what we've been told the problem means about us?

What happens when advice becomes diagnosis?

When content gets our attention — and eventually gains authority over what we believe about ourselves?

And who gets to tell us who we are?

I'm Ruth.

FROM THE BUBBLE TO THE BIBLE is part confession, part investigation, and part journey back to Scripture.

We'll look at coaching culture, manifestation, self-optimization, identity, influence, and the ideas we absorb without even noticing.

Not to replace one bubble with another.

But to ask better questions, open the Bible, and find out what actually holds up.

Because maybe we don't need another blueprint for becoming a better version of ourselves.

Maybe we need to discover who we already are in Christ.

FROM THE BUBBLE TO THE BIBLE.

Confessions of a Recovering Coach.
