In this episode we talk about what Heather thinks she knows about the movie and the movie’s impact on pop culture. After watching it, we’ll talk about our feelings on how the movie has aged, what it feels like watching it over 30 years later, and if it deserves its place in the pantheon of great movies.

Somehow, Heather missed the star-packed 2001 Ocean’s Eleven starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, and Andy Garcia…until now. We take our first steps into the wide, wide universe of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with 2008’s Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. as the titular hero. This movie, directed by Jon Favreau, kicked off the entertainment juggernaut that is the MCU, so even though Heather has technically seen the movie before, we’re going to revisit it to start our Marvel superhero journey. Fortunately, she doesn’t remember any of it.
