V Ljubljani smo le nekaj dni po vrnitvi organizirali dva dogodka, prvega v Zorici v sodelovanju s Consuleom (Vid Benjamin Krajnc), drugega v Klubu K4 s Kibernet Kriminalität, kjer so v goste prišli rezidenti katalonske založbe Kompound.

Še preden smo se uspeli privaditi na domače okolje, je sledil odhod na festival EXIT. Brez predaha smo se odpravili na festival Butik, kjer smo nudili logistično podporo in prevzeli vloge dveh stage managerjev in treh artist hospitalityjev. Neposredno po tednu Tolmina smo se odpravili v Benetke, kjer smo prespali in se takoj naslednje jutro odpravili v Berlin, kjer nas je pred odhodom v Stuttgart čakal še zadnji teden pisarniških priprav za WET Open Air Festival, ki se je nato zgodil v soboto 30. julija.

Novost od sedaj bodo objave vlogov večjih projektov na YouTubeu, govorili pa bomo, bolj ali manj pokrivljeno, v angleščini.

Glavni razlog obiska festivala je bilo gostovanje znamke HYTE, pri kateri delata Jurij in David, in snemanje kratkega aftermovieja (Maks). Opisali smo našo izkušnjo ozadja festivala, kjer se je tekom konca tedna vsak dan zbralo preko 17.000 obiskovalcev.

Iz filozofije in sociologije kulture je doštudiral je na Filozofski fakulteti, kjer je ves čas, svoj vsebinski fokus usmerjal na glasbo. Po študiju se je kot svetovalec za področje glasbene umetnosti zaposlil na Ministrstvu za kulturo. Kasneje je prevzel naloge generalnega sekretarja SIGIC - Slovenskega glasbenoinformacijskega centra, kjer je zaposlen še danes.

Pod njegovim okriljem se udeležuje številnih mednarodnih odprav, namenjenih promociji slovenske glasbe v tujini. Slednje predstavljajo WOMEX, Jazzahead, Eurosonic, Classical:Next, Waves Vienna in drugi. Aktivno deluje tudi v mednarodnih glasbenih mrežah IAMIC, EMEE in HEMI.

Pri svojem delu velik poudarek namenja svetovanju mladim glasbenim generacijam, ki so še na začetku svojih poti in potrebujejo ustrezne informacije za ključne odločitve, ki vodijo v profesionalno glasbeno okolje. Sodeluje tudi z Javnim zavodom Mladi Zmaji, kjer je v črnuškem Basementu vzpostavil glasbeni inkubator za mlade glasbenike in drug podporni kader (management, booking, piar...).

V prostem času rad bere, vozi gorsko kolo, kuha in vijači modularni sintesajzer.

Kdo je Sharku pomagal do prvega nastopa, kako mu je v Miamiju uspelo prodati njegovo prvo skladbo in kje se je zataknilo, da se Ultra Europe ne odvija pod njegovim okriljem v Istri? V študentskih letih je bil izjemno pomemben člen v aktivnostih Kluba tolminskih študentov. Iz tega se je nato razvila želja po še resnejši organizaciji elektronskih dogodkov. Skupaj z ekipo so nato leta 2019 slovenski publiki predstavili festival Butik, ki je na idilični lokaciji Tolminskega sotočja 3 dni združeval goste iz več evropskih držav. Kako izgleda birokracija za dogodkom takšne narave, zakaj ideja o odmiku od masovnih dogodkov in kako urgirati, ko potek festivala pod vprašaj postavijo jezni ribiči? Vsi odgovori se nahajajo v šesti epizodi.

Preden sta združila moči v DJ dvojec, je Nejc ustvarjal v kolektivu Lanterna in organiziral zabave v Mariboru, Luka pa je deloval kot producent v skupini Matter.

V pogovoru odkrivamo, kako sta oblikovala svoj glasbeni slog — od začetnih arpeggiatorskih zvokov in italo-diskoidnih synthov do sodobnega trancea, eurodancea in ghetto housa. Razkrila sta, kako se pripravljata na svoje sete, kaj ju navdihuje, kako se je razvijala njuna glasbena pot in kje se vidita v prihodnosti.
