Welcome to Apocalypse How, a podcast where we sit with the chaos and strive to be gentle as well as critical and curious. I’m Heidi Ippolito: a lifelong learner, a film lover, a doctor of memes, and an endlessly curious person.

We’re all feeling a bit apocalyptic right now, and I want to face this feeling head-on, while also remaining gentle and kind. As we ask big questions and sit in the gray, I welcome you to join me in finding hope amidst the chaos.

This podcast aims to slow things down as we discuss current events, niche cultures, and American history from a variety of perspectives. My curated research (alongside rotating interviews with interesting people) will generate conversations about religion, pop culture, conspiracies, and what it means to be human. As a host, I ground my academic expertise in humor and humanity, encouraging laughter to carry through the darker topics. Overall, things may feel chaotic, but we can still choose to be gentle as we think critically.
