Headed out to Joshua Tree with my 1 series for some photos and much needed RNR, though I'm not sure I unplugged as much as I should have as I ended up recording a podcast, taking photos of my car in the desert, and recording 2 or 3 YouTube videos for my various accounts... That said, I did find some time in the silence of the desert shortly after a beautiful sunrise to record some of my thoughts surrounding mental clarity and why I believe it's okay to take breaks and find some alone time every now and then. Recently inherited a film camera from my late grandfather and given my profound interest for the art of photography, decided to begin putting it to good use. Quickly running through my first roll of film and enjoying the relaxed process of capturing one frame at a time. Interested to see how this new (old) style of photography will influence the decisions I make behind the camera moving forward.
