Welcome to the beginning of the end.

The world is going so crazy that many are asking, is this the end? Will Jesus return soon? And the answer is maybe! So what are you going to do about it? How will you navigate what could very well be the end times we are living in?

Sion Jeon and Jordan Chanin are fellow pastors, and brothers (in Christ, obviously) who are on a mission to help people think biblically about their lives and decisions as we live in these wild times. We believe that a plurality of voices and perspectives are necessary to help us understand and make sense of life, and we are here to serve you and be one more source of wisdom and guidance as you try to make sense of life before the end. Follow along for your guide to the end times!

We talk about how spiritual authority can be misused, why control and isolation are such common patterns, and how trust in God can be manipulated to harm people instead of heal them.

We explore:

What spiritual abuse actually looks like in real church settings

How leadership, control, and silence create unsafe environments

Why so many people say they’ve been spiritually abused — and why it’s often underreported

The long-term impact of church hurt on individuals, families, and the future of the church

How spiritual abuse can be subtle, unintentional, and even perpetuated by well-meaning people

What a safe church should look like according to Scripture

How healing, forgiveness, and restoration are possible — without minimizing the harm

This is not a conversation about tearing down the church — it’s about calling the church back to humility, accountability, and the heart of Jesus. If you’ve experienced church hurt, questioned leadership, or wrestled with whether the church can still be a safe place, this episode is for you.
